Setup Godaddy Domain for GitHub io pages — 2023

In this post, I will show you how to configure a godaddy domain to your github io page. 2023 Updated

Go to your godaddy web console: https://dcc.godaddy.com/control/portfolio

Then click on DNS

Update the Type “A” with this value 192.30.252.153

If you are worry about this ip, google it. At the moment of this write

Then update the CNAME www with your github page ending with a dot

Go to your git repository and create a file called CNAME with the desire godaddy domain

Just push your git changes, wait some minutes and your new domain will be ready to use!!
